Learn French in Quebec

The majority of our students in Canada are placed in the province of Quebec. Our French program in Canada will give you the full French experience. You will attend a French high school and live with a French-speaking family. Quebec is home to Montreal and Quebec City, two of Canada’s most vibrant cities, where you will feel the strong French atmosphere. Quebec also has some of the most beautiful scenery in Canada.

Bilingual Canada offers both English and French

Choose our bilingual option in Canada and learn both English and French in one year. You will likely be placed in the province of Quebec. Request to be placed in an English high school but with a French-speaking host family, or the other way around. This gives you the opportunity to learn two languages in one year.

There is something for everyone

Due to Canada’s size and diversity, you will encounter many new experiences. You might:

• Attend a concert in Vancouver
• Go dog sledding in Saskatchewan
• Check out Montreal’s famous comedy scene
• Ski in the Rocky Mountains

There is one experience you probably will not avoid: hockey, Canada’s favorite sport.

Life in Canada

Your schedule will be filled with classes, after-school activities and time to hang out with friends. On the weekends you might go to the movies, hike in the wilderness or take excursions to nearby cities. It all depends on where you study during your student exchange in Canada.
