Dil Ve Kültürel Kamp
Previous students say that beginning their year abroad with attending the EF Language & Culture Camp was the best start they could get! At camp you will meet other students coming from all over the world, giving camp a truly international atmosphere. All students are in the same situation and usually make friends and form very close-knot groups at camp. Many stay in contact with each other throughout the year – and after.
In addition to all the new students, we also bring a couple of former students to the camp. They are the best people to teach you all the ‘ins and outs’ of living and studying in Australia. Ask them about school, living in a host family, good places to go, what to do or not to do, and much more. They are the real experts.
At camp you will have classes with native teachers where you will practice your English and learn more about life in Australia. Classes include everything from language training, to geography, what life and people are like here, current issues, and much more. After school, there are lots of activities, events and excursions to take part in. Maybe you will learn Aboriginal dancing, take a walk along the Sydney Harbour Bridge, do some shopping or visit a wildlife park? There are lots of options to choose from!
Facts about the camp:
- The Australia Language & Culture Camp is held at Vision Valley , set in natural bush land, one hour from the heart of Sydney.
- Camp starts July 1st 2006 and lasts for two weeks, until July 15th 2006
- Class subjects include English, History, Geography, Life in Australia, Aboriginal culture and Current Issues. You will have Australian teachers.
- Shared accommodation in dormitories (separate dorms for boys and girls), is included.
- All meals are included.
- Two full-day excursions to Sydney are included in the price.
- Former EF-students participate in the camp to share their experiences.
- Travel to your host family is arranged and included in the price.
